Are you a skilled, high-energy, people-oriented college student who cares about making your community and world a better place? Do you enjoy working with people with disabilities? Do you want to gain valuable skills, meet new friends and have fun all while affecting positive change? If so, The Arc of Shelby is looking for interns in the following areas: public relations/special events and social service.

We are especially interested in students majoring in social work, psychology, education, business, marketing or a similar field, but anyone with a passion for service is encouraged to apply.

We offer internships during the fall, spring and summer semesters, as well as year around positions.  Each internship is based on your goals, while also accommodating your school’s requirements.
